Video Corinthians 2 - Millonarios 0
El Corinthians, campeón vigente de la Copa Libertadores, consiguió este miércoles su primer triunfo en la actual edición del torneo al superar sin apuros por 2-0 al Millonarios colombiano, en un partido a puertas cerradas disputado en el estadio Pacaembú, de Sao Paulo.

El artillero peruano Paolo Guerrero, a los 10 minutos, y el internacional Alexandre Pato, a los 48, sentenciaron la victoria del equipo brasileño, sancionado para disputar sus partidos como local en la Copa Libertadores sin público, debido a la muerte la semana pasada de un hincha boliviano en su primer partido.
El joven Kevin Douglas Beltrán Espada, de 14 años, murió en el estadio de Oruro (Bolivia) durante el partido de entre el San José y el club brasileño, al ser impactado en su cabeza por una bengala lanzada por un aficionado visitante.
No obstante, a pesar de la sanción impuesta por la Confederación Suramericana de Fútbol (Conmebol), seis aficionados del Corinthians consiguieron una autorización judicial para ingresar al estadio, amparada en el Código de Defensa del Consumidor, pero sólo cuatro de ellos acudieron al Pacaembú.
Varios seguidores del Corinthians se congregaron en las afueras del estadio paulista para ver el partido en los televisores de los puestos de los vendedores ambulantes.
El Corinthians dominó durante todo el partido y creó las mejores opciones de gol.
La primera anotación de los dueños de casa llegó a los 10 minutos en un tiro de esquina cobrado por Renato Agusto y que Paulinho desvió para que Guerrero definiera sin problemas ante el portero visitante Luis Delgado.
Con la ventaja, el Corinthians no bajó el acelerador y buscó ampliar el marcador.
El segundo gol fue convertido a los tres minutos del segundo tiempo por Alexandre Pato, quien recibió un pase perfecto de Ralf y contó con la complicidad de Delgado que no pudo evitar el tanto del exjugador del Milán.
Las modificaciones del técnico visitante Hernán Torres no le rindieron el resultado esperado a Millonarios, que siempre apostó, sin éxito, a las jugadas de ataque de Wason Rentería, un viejo conocido de la afición brasileña tras su paso por equipos como Internacional de Porto Alegre, Atlético Mineiro y Santos.
El entrenador local, Adenor Bacchi 'Tite', en tanto, movió sus fichas con el ingreso de los experimentados Douglas y Émerson Sheik y del joven Romarinho, jugadores que le dieron más potencia al ataque, pero que no pudieron aumentar la ventaja.
El defensor colombiano Jarold Martínez fue expulsado a los 76 minutos por doble amonestación tras una falta sobre Renato Augusto.
Con la victoria, el actual campeón del Mundial de Clubes de la FIFA suma cuatro puntos, mientras que su rival se queda en el fondo del grupo sin puntos y con dos derrotas en igual número de partidos.
El mexicano Tijuana lidera la serie con seis unidades, después de su goleada en casa por 4-0 sobre el boliviano San José, que tiene un punto.
En la tercera fecha, el Corinthians visitará el 6 de marzo al líder Tijuana, mientras que Millonarios recibirá un día después en Bogotá al San José.
